Open Source Lisbon 2021
Hi everyone!
I am one of the organisers of Open Source Lisbon, the biggest Open Source event in Portugal… and it’s FREE!
I wanted to share some news about this year’s edition with all of you and invite you to register for the event.
As Open Source becomes even more important these days, we decided to give a special twist on the event this year. Instead of the traditional one-day event, this year it will be 2 days.
The 1st Day (17th of June — Public Sector & European Union)
The first day will be dedicated to celebrating the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union and the Open Source software strategy outlined by the European Commission.
The 2nd Day (18th of June — Open Source Mindset in a Shifting World)
On the second day, we’ll have our well-known event for the community, enthusiasts and business professionals.
Our line up consists of big names on the Open Source community, such as:
- Chris DiBona — Director Open Source & Making and Science @ Google
- Tim O’Reilly — Founder and CEO @ O’Reilly Media
- Amanda Brock — CEO @ OpenUK
- Ben Cerveny — President @ Foundation for Public Code
- Keith Hollman — Principal Solution Engineer @ MySQL
